Newsletter - 2023 - 3 (July - September)
Lighting Design Reimagined - New lighting products with integrated control systems, that open new doors for a revolution in architectural lighting designs.
Explore here - in this newslettter - 3 types of luminaires integrated with controls & relevent solutions:
1- Controlling colors (RGBW) for two beams (outer and inner)
2- Controlling Aiming and beams
3- Controlling dimming and/or switching with an integrated motion/lux sensor
4- In addition, we added the link of an old newsletter titled Dynamic Architectural Lighting, because of its relevance to this topic
1- HYDREL FLAME - Combines RGBW & Dual Beam Angles In One Luminaire . When redesigning the lighting experience, technological breakthroughs go hand in hand with new experiences. Centered around beam quality, precision, durability, and the human experience, we strive for excellence. Applying engineered technical opportunities and challenges with an innovative spirit to develop solutions that help shape the future of architectural lighting design. Reimagined lighting design is here. |
2- FORMALIGHTING - Motorized Remote Controlled Lighting . Historically, commercial motorized lighting evolved from theatre, where products were scaled versions of expensive largeformat stage lights, limiting their use to niche applications in areas with little to no access. With MOTOLUX, formalighting has used its best-selling products as a base to bring compact, motorized lighting to the world. |
3- ACUITY BRANDS - The Value of Embedded Controls . Lighting control solutions are in a continuous state of evolution. At the beginning controls were panel-based that evolved to room-based analog occupancy sensors then transitioned to distributed digital devices. Today, lighting controls are moving to embedded controls within the luminaire. An embedded control is designed by the luminaire manufacturer to have the controls device as part of the luminaire. And the beauty of the embedded luminaires is they are manufactured, tested, and shipped with the control already present in the luminaire, eliminating field installation of the control. |
